We have given this Quarter Horse mare the barn name of Storm. Storm is a silver toned grullo in color with only a partial hind pastern for white markings. Storm has lots of dun factor and lots of frosting in her mane as well. Storm should finish out around
15 hands
and 1075 pounds.

Storm is a nicely balanced filly with good bone, a pretty neck, clean throat latch, and a nice broad chest on her. She has a classic quarter horse head on her with wide set eyes and lots of definition topped off with short hooked ears.  Storm has a very good disposition and just loves her people attention for her there is nothing better then a good grooming. Storm is a real pleasure to work with and we could not ask for a better disposition she is easy to catch the first to greet you in the pasture..

Theres lots of performance breeding in her with working cow and halter and a little speed for good measure.

Storm was started under saddle spring of 2004. Storm has a big stride and is very athletic. Very level headed and not too much phases this young mare, she was doing beautifully under saddle till her mishap.
Storm was seriously injured summer of 2004, after she had aprox 6 months training on her. She suffered a serious leg injury that literally cut half her leg away exposing the bone from hock to fetlock. Thankfully her super disposition has made her easy to work with while we pain stakingly go through the months of doctoring back to health. Her injury has taken a year to heal and is still not quite fully healed it did mess up her conformation a bit but she has remained relatively sound considering the severity of her injury.  As of Feb 2005, Storm weighs in at 1050 pounds. Storm may not be one of our best bred mares on paper but she certainly lacks for nothing as a horse.

Storm has been bred to Smokinblue Hollywood for a 2006 foal. This foal should have good size, good bone, be very athletic and will have a gorgeous head  we believe. We are excited to see the outcome of this cross since both the sire and dam, both started out as ugly ducklings that we believe have matured into very nice finished products, it will be interesting to see what the foal will look like.
