PEDIGREE

This pretty mare has the barn name of Saucy. Saucy is a nice solid mare with lots of substance, good muscle in all the right places, a powerful hip, great  gaskins, she is nicely balanced with clean throat latch, pretty neck line, good wither, low hocks and good bone and feet. Add to that a very pretty head. Halter looks in a smaller package. Saucey is a dun mare with good dun factor, nice bold leg markings, dorsal stripe, mane and tail frosting, shadowing at the withers, mottling, ear edging and slight face masking. Saucy has some real sharp looking chrome on her with a pretty stripe on her face and two hind perfectly matching socks.

Saucy comes from a line of proven speed, arena horses and just good using horses on the ranch. We have had several mares with her bloodlines in our herd over the years and all were good solid built horses with good minds, the type capable of a good days work, which made for great riding horses and all had the pretty factor built in.  Her grandsire and gr grandsire are both proven on the track.

Speed and more speed this mare is very quick on her feet, she can turn on a dime and is also very sure footed. A real big mover at all gaits, with energy and stamina to burn. A very smart filly who learns quickly, this mare is already neck reining nicely, knows how to use her hind quarters. Saucy had 30 days training put on her as a 3 year old, and was started back under saddle in January 2005. She has 120 days  professional training currently under her belt and continues in training till sold. Been rode indoors and out doors, both alone and with other horses. A good minded mare who takes everything in stride, she has beautiful movement, and can really snap under saddle. She has been through water, trees, down the road, over railroad tracks, over tarps, poles and even jumps which she really enjoyed. She is accustom to dogs running at her feet, and cats, noisy kids, been sacked out with plastic bags, use to tractors, quads, trains, vehicles and radios just to name a few of the stimuli in her training program. As of Feb 2005 this mare weighs in at 1081 pounds and stands 14.3 hands. Saucey will also be a color producer one day as well. Regular farrier work, and deworming, and fully vaccinated. Saucey would make an excellent barrel prospect, poles or any timed events, team penning or with specific training I believe would make an excellent little cutter as well.  A great little mare with all the pretty and speed you could ask for in a compact package. Saucy has been pregnacy checked in foal to our Silver Grullo Stallion Smokinblue Hollywood for a 2006 foal.
