This big quarter horse mare stands at 15.1 hands and aprox 1100 pounds, she comes in a pretty light silver grullo coloring, with some white to splash up her face. She has lots of dun factoring and beautiful frosting in her mane and tail. This girls barn name is Robin. Robin was basically a range mare when we bought her with no handling much at all. Robin is a very stocky built mare with lots of height, substance, and good bone and feet. She has a nice neck line and broad chest, full hip and a pretty head. Robin has lots of speed and is a smooth fluid mover. She rules the roost when it comes to the broodmare band, but not in a mean way. Robin produces produces very muscular foals with color, big hips and pretty heads. Her breeding is working cow, performance breeding, some of the other names you will find in her pedigree are Lightning Bar, Leo Bar, Leo, King, Three Bars, and Zantanon. click on names to view records. Robin is bred to Smokinblue Hollywood for a 2006 foal.. |

Robin is being offered for sale in our downsizing program. This mare has always outproduced herself. All her babys have good bone, big hips and pretty heads. She has been bred back for a 2006 foal to our junior grullo stallion. Pregnacy checked and confirmed in foal. Despite being a range mare this mare is good on the lead and loads well, she is a good hauler and we have had no health problems with her or lameness problems whatsoever. We would like to see this mare sold to a home where people understand what a range mare is so that she can feel at home in her new home. You could not ask for better mothering instincts, she is very attentive, protective, and careful with all her foals, she milks like a cow and her foals flourish quickly. |
