This big ol girl has been given the name of Dixie Chick. She stands at 15.1 hands and weighs in at 1166 pounds. She is a red dun Quarter Horse mare.
Dixie Chick has a nice big broad chest on her, a big full hip, a nice neck line, clean throat latch, with a very pretty head and big kind round eye. She's got good bone and nice low hocks. Dixie Chick is very well trained under saddle she's got lots of jam, and likes to get out and move but is also very level headed. A willing mount that likes to please, impecible ground manners and a friendly sweet dispositon. She is awesome for farrier, loading, needling you name it. This was my personal riding mare and I couldnt of asked for a better riding horse if I tried. Unfortunatly she is no longer sound for hard riding so I am offering her up for sale as a broodmare. She should put a very stout, muscular foal on the ground with some color added into the mix.

She was trained and shown at the canadian supreme as a three year old in reining. She's had many miles put on her out in the pasture and seen her share of cattle over the years as well. She's produced 4 beautiful foals so far.

Shes out of a performance and halter point earning sire and a dam with performance points as well. With names like Jay Page, JB King, Two Eyed Fox, Two D Two, Sugar Bars, Pretty Buck, Poco Dell and many more shes bred to look good and to work. Shes got a wonderful disposition.  Her many years of experience  also make her a good riding companion and teacher for the young stock out on the trails.

Due to unforseen circumstances we have decided to breed Dixie Chick for a 2006 foal. She has been bred to SMOKINBLUE HOLLYWOOD .
