This pretty Quarter Horse filly is another grullo in color, her only white is a small star. We have given this pretty young mare the barn name of Luxury. She is a full sister to our beloved Cami that we lost the summer of 2004 to lightning. Though she will never be as pretty as her sister she is still a very pretty mare. She is a third generation grullo and comes to us from Montana.

Luxury should finish out around 15 hands, 1000 pounds. Luxury has a nice solid build, a nice broad chest, big full hip, nice bone, with low hock set, and topped off with a pretty head with big eyes. Luxury is a very friendly filly with a curious disposition. Luxury has had all her ground work done on her already from tieing, leading, feet work, grooming, trailering, sacking out, to round pen lessons. Luxury was started under saddle spring 2005. She's a quick learner, with lots of speed but also has great speed control, very smooth gait transitions. Luxury is a great mount out on the trail, very level headed, and trys hard to please. She has been rode indoors and out. She has been rode down the road, through trees, through water, over railroad tracks, up and down hills, over tarps, poles, small jumps and is accustom to a lot of different stimuli such as trains, tractors quads, kids, dogs, riding mowers and more. We are very pleased with how she is maturing. Luxury will spend a year under saddle before being added to the broodmare band in 2006.

Luxury has a real nice mix of reining, working cow horse and halter lines with some great names right on her papers. With her build, color, and pedigree she is a definate asset to our future broodmare band.
